Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Approximately 18 -32kms, takes approximately 1 hour’s drive depending on traffic Mercury Homes and safaris guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, transfer you to your Nairobi hotel. Check-in then we brief you on what will hopefully be your best holiday in Africa. Enjoy overnight. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Mt Kenya

Approximately 290 kms, takes approximately 2.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then depart. We drive you via Nairobi to the Aberdare National Park arriving in the afternoon. You need a small overnight bag for your essentials of the night at Fairmount Mt Kenya, rest of the luggage will be left in safe custody at the Aberdare Country Club. You will be watching wildlife from the lodge balcony and under-ground bunkers. Occasionally you will receive alarms at night from your room when special animals come to the flood-lit water-hole. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Fairmount Mt kenya.

Day 3: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru National Park

Approximately 160kms, takes approximately 4.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we drive you to the Lake Nakuru national park with a brief stop at the 74 metres Thompson falls. We will be arriving at your lodge/camp for check-in then lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. The park is famous for the abundant greater and lesser flamingoes (when the later levels on the lake are low). Wildlife here is bountiful including lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyenas. Rothschild giraffe as well as black and white rhino are also found here. Lake Nakuru National Park is an ornithological paradise for bird lovers as well. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Approximately 270kms, takes approximately 6hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we pick and drive you to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will be arriving at your lodge/camp for check-in then lunch. Proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive. With Sundowner drinks as you enjoy the sunset Later return back to the lodge/camp for diner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a full day of game viewing drives. you can also opt for a morning and afternoon game viewing drives with hot lunch at the lodge. You may also opt for a balloon safari in the morning then afternoon game drives with Sundowner This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including the ‘Big five’ of Africa. The reserve is surrounded by Masai villages (traditional home-steads) which at a small extra cost you may want to experience a cultural visit to one of them. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Naivasha

Approximately 265kms, takes approximately 6 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we drive you through the floor of the Rift Valley to Naivasha. You will be arriving at your lodge for lunch. Enjoy afternoon at leisure or at an extra cost you will have a one-hour boat ride in the lake or better still, to the crescent island. Enjoy diner and overnight.

Day 7: Naivasha – Nairobi Excursion

Approximately 90kms takes 1.5 hours drive depending on traffic Depart Naivasha Arrive Nairobi for lunch and have a city tour to giraffe center to feed the giraffes then later to Daphne sheldrick orphanage to feed the orphaned elephants and tuck them inn for bedtime head back to Hemmingways for dinner overnight Stay

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

Approximately 240kms, takes approximately 4.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we drive you to the Amboseli National Park arriving at your lodge/camp for check- in then lunch. Amboseli is great for a Kenya safari. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Later return back to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy early morning game viewing drive the return back to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Departure Amboseli- Nairobi

Approximately 290kms, takes approximately 6.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then check-out. We drive you back to Nairobi. Alternatively, at an extra cost you may opt for a one-hour light scheduled flight to the Wilson Airport. Short drive to Hemmingways to relax hotel overnight stay

Day 11: Departure To airport
