Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Approximately 18 -32kms, takes approximately 1 hour’s drive depending on traffic Bonfire Adventures guide driver will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, transfer you to your Nairobi hotel. Check-in then we brief you on what will hopefully be your best holiday in Africa. Enjoy overnight. You are booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Approximately 240kms, takes approximately 4.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we drive you to the Amboseli National Park arriving at your lodge/camp for check-in then lunch. Amboseli is great for a Kenya safari. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Later return back to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy early morning game viewing drive the return back to the lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. If the weather permits you will enjoy breath-taking views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It is from the Amboseli where some of the most captivating wildlife photos with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background have been taken. Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

Approximately 390kms, takes approximately 7.5 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then with packed lunch we drive you to the Lake Nakuru national park with a brief stop at Great Rift Valley view point. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. The park is famous for the abundant greater and lesser flamingoes (when the later levels on the lake are low). Wildlife here is bountiful including lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyenas. Rothschild giraffe as well as black and white rhino are also found here are. Lake Nakuru National Park is an ornithological paradise for bird lovers as well. Later drive to your lodge/camp for check-in. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Approximately 270kms, takes approximately 6 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we pick and drive you to the Masai Mara National Reserve, the best Kenya safaris destination. This famous game reserve is one of the best places for a Safari in Africa. You will be arriving at your lodge/camp for lunch. Proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive. Later return back to your lodge/camp. Enjoy diner and overnight.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a full day of game viewing drives. You can also opt for a morning and afternoon game viewing drives with hot lunch at the lodge/camp. This famous game reserve is world famous for the spectacular wildebeest migration between July through to September each year, the abundant wildlife including the ‘Big five’ of Africa. The reserve is surrounded by Masai traditional home-steads and so at a small extra cost you may want to experience a cultural visit to one of them. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Naivasha

Approximately 265kms, takes approximately 6 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then we drive you through the floor of the Rift Valley to Naivasha. You will be arriving at your lodge for lunch. Enjoy afternoon at leisure or at an extra cost you will have a one-hour boat ride in the lake or better still, to the crescent island. Enjoy diner and overnight.

Day 8: Departure

Approximately 100kms, takes approximately 3 hours’ drive depending on traffic Enjoy breakfast then check-out. We drive you back to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch at the Carnivore restaurant then our guide driver will drop you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
