City of Cape Town Tour Table Mountain And Robben Island Tour For a perfect Cape Town Table Mountain Tour, we start our day at 08h30. We then head to the top of Table Mountain by cable car for one of the most beautiful sites in the world. We stop at Signal Hill for a great photo opportunity before we return to the city and walk through the Company Gardens.

On route, we drive past some historical sites and stop at the Castle of Good Hope (if time permits) and then continue our drive through the City of Cape Town. Signal Hill is also one of the launch sites for paragliding.

 When conditions allow, there are few things as memorable as soaring over the city of Cape Town. Drift on the thermal air currents, and admire the spectacular sea and mountain views, before landing in Sea Point or Camps Bay. Robben Island is a World Heritage Site and museum, offering daily tours.

 The tour begins at the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront with a multimedia exhibition, museum shop, and restaurant. After that, guests hop onto the ferry for a scenic trip to the island. Once on Robben Island itself, the tour is guided by a former political prisoner of the island, for unique and incomparable insights into the island’s history. At 12h15 we make our way to the V&A Waterfront to Live the experience of Nelson Mandela on Robben Island in a 4-hour trip in the afternoon. An ex- political prisoner will guide you through the prison grounds.

 Due to possible adverse weather conditions, Cape Town Table Mountain Tour /Cable Way & Robben Island entrance tickets are not included, as this could be canceled on the day. Bookings for Robben Island need to be confirmed at least 5 days in advance. You will be refunded should the boat and/or cable car be canceled, or you may re-schedule

Itinerary

08h30 – Hotel Pick-up
Your guide collects you from your hotel. Begin the day with a scenic drive toward Table Mountain.

09h00 – 10h30 | Table Mountain
Take the rotating cable car to the top (tickets not included). Enjoy sweeping views of Cape Town, Robben Island, and the Cape Peninsula. Short guided walk on the summit (weather permitting).

10h30 – 11h00 | Signal Hill
Photo stop overlooking the city, Table Bay, and Atlantic Seaboard. Optional paragliding launch site when conditions allow.

11h00 – 11h45 | Company’s Garden & City Drive
Leisurely walk through the historic Company’s Garden. Drive past Parliament, St George’s Cathedral, District Six, and City Hall.

11h45 – 12h15 | Castle of Good Hope (time permitting)
Stop at the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa for a short visit or photo opportunity.

12h15 – 12h45 | Transfer to V&A Waterfront
Arrive at the Nelson Mandela Gateway for check-in. Explore the small exhibition before boarding.

13h00 – 17h00 | Robben Island Tour
Ferry to Robben Island (±30–40 mins). Guided bus and prison tour by an ex-political prisoner. Learn about Nelson Mandela and the struggle against apartheid.
